InTrigger’s plugin private test is coming to an end. Soon, the plugin will be available for all WordPress users, so we think it is the time to give you more details about this great plugin! Content marketers are always looking for new ways to to improve lead generation performance, and here comes InTrigger plugin. It allows WP marketers to deploy contextualized and smart scenarios that boost sign-up and lead generation. Actually, depending on pages keywords and user behavior, some native widgets will appear inside the post or in a floating bar. The plugin is developed by a talented french team of growth marketers and developers based in Paris, and we wanted to bring something new in the lead generation landscape.
Insert contextualized calls-to-action inside your posts
Let’s start with a case study. In the following example, we will describe how to create a basic scenario, an email form that appears inside your posts. We also want the widget to appear only on pages/posts containing a specific keyword (Yes we can !).
1. Create an inline scenario
First step, choose the scenario type. In this example, we decided to choose the inline scenario, in which a widget is inserted inside some targeted posts.
If you’re curious, I’m sure you wonder what is the “Continue” scenario đ This scenario allows you to hide part of the post and invite the reader to signup, subscribe newsletter or even in close future to desactivate Adblock, in order to read full post.
2. Choose your widget
Second step, choose the widget that will appear inside your posts. In our example, we choose the default email form and decide that it should appear in the middle of the post. Please note that you have various settings on widget level to define colors and texts, and above all, you can create custom widgets.
3. Define scenario settings, including targeted keywords
This part is particularly awesome. InTrigger allows you to apply your scenarios on pages containing a specific keyword. Of course, you can select among the results on which pages apply the scenario. You can also determine when you want to apply the scenario, what kind of user you want to target and on what kind of device.
As you understood, creating a scenario will only take a few minutes and can be done by almost everyone.
Scenarize your user journey and test new lead generation tactics
After this quick demonstration, you now have a first idea of InTrigger’s potential. But InTrigger enables you to do much better. We tried to give content marketers all the tools they may need to test innovative lead generation approaches, meaasure scenarios / widgets performance, while respecting users by managing the “push pressure”.
Several scenarios are available
Users can choose among 3 different scenarios:
- Inline: Insert a widget inside some targeted posts
- Floating bar: Display a top or bottom floating bar after some time spent on the page / percentage of scroll
- Continue reading: Hide part of the post content and invite the user to perform a specific action to disclose the full post
In addition to these different scenario types, other innovative services will soon be available. For example, we are considering a 2-Step Lightbox scenario, the idea is to insert automatically in some posts some specific links / call to actions that will open a popup.
Various and custom widgets
InTrigger users can choose among various indget. The plugin aims to boost conversion and lead generation, so obviously you can collect emails and drive traffic. But, last but not least, you can also create your own indget. For advanced users, we provide some shortcodes like [CONVERSION] in order to measure performance on custom widgets too.
More intelligence: retargeting and scenarios prioritization
There are already some very nice lead generation plugins available on WordPress, even for free. But none of them is really user centric. The idea is always to display more email forms, push some offers, without real knowledge wether this could bother users.
Based on our CRM experiences, we tried to focus more on user, to help marketers find the good balance between too much forms / offers and thus bad User Experience, and not enough call to actions. In that objective, we provide some “retargeting” features in order to allow marketers to define the number maximum of scenarios applied by user session, define if another scenario applies after a convesion, etc. Scenarios prioritization is also a very useful features to manage marketing pressure when you have a lot of active scenarios.
Advanced statistics
Of course, InTrigger enables you to confront the efficiency of your different scenarios with several statistics. By comparing your scenarios conversion rate, you can improve progressively
Ready to boost your conversion?
The plugin is under private testing for several months. InTrigger plugin has been tested on different configurations, with a lot of different themes and plugins. Thanks to all the users who helped us debug the plugin and improve it step by step!
